Philip is a real estate and construction professional with 18 years of experience.  He has managed the Genesis Team in the successful delivery of numerous projects throughout the United States.  Philip benefits from a degree in Economics and Finance from Kansas State University. He began his development and construction career as a project manager and eventually founded his own company.  His approach to the real estate development and acquisition process is both aggressive and innovative but based on solid time-proven principles.

Philip has extensive experience in professional development and human resources, hiring, interviewing and positioning other professionals where they can be best utilized in an operation. Philip has been involved at various levels of development for hotels, shopping centers, and apartment communities.

In addition to Philip’s development and construction experience, he was the co-owner of a boutique financial service business for several years. While serving in this capacity Philip was exposed to multiple alternative investment classes (specifically real estate offerings), and the workings of the independent broker-dealer community.  While he was not licensed to sell securities and did not sell any directly, he gained tremendous experience from the observation, vetting, and due diligence of these offerings.

Personally, Philip takes interest in government, philanthropy and social issues impacting our culture and environment.  Philip lives in Kansas City with his wife and two children; a few of his memberships include the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), and St. James Parish.
